Dr. Vaughan  is great! He’s so good with our pets! We have a rescue that was very abused & is so fearful of everything- Dr. Vaughan is always kind and patient with him and it makes such a difference. We have even had to have him put a one of our dogs to sleep and his kindness made that sad day easier. He is very accessible anytime I call or email him and he always takes his time when he comes to our home for an appointment- it’s never rushed and always a thorough visit. Dr. Vaughan is amazing! He helped us when our sweet Golden doodle, Atticus, needed to cross the Rainbow bridge and now he visits our latest addition, Dooby, in the comfort of our own home. Dr  Vaughn helped my 9 year old morkie who had a bad yeast issue.  He took the time to listen to what was happening with my dog and he recommended a treatment plan and my dog is back to himself.  I can’t thank him enough my boy is back to himself.  I have tried everything my prior vet recommended and nothing helped.  One visit with Dr. Vaughn and my dog is finally back to himself. We are so thankful we found Dr Vaughan to help our 2 senior cats. Being able to keep them home when they had more medical issues that would have resulted in lots of visits to the clinic relieved a lot of stress both for our cats and for us as owners. Dr Vaughan truly loves his patients and what he does.  Very clear his priority is the well being and health of my dog Fergus who was ill memorial weekend and Dr Vaughan made time on that Sunday to come to my house and treat my dog Fergus who was not himself and we all know how distressing that is to a dog parent.  He walked me through his plan and made sure I knew he was available for any questions or concerns during recuperating time to contact him and he himself followed up! Dr Vaughan responded quickly to us when we had an old dog in need of medical care. He was able to help us understand our options and guide our decisions in a compassionate way. We ultimately decided that at home euthanasia was the best course and Dr Vaughan helped make a very sad day as calm and peaceful as possible, and took care of all needs after that. We are incredibly blessed to have met Dr. Vaughan from Finksburg vetenarian and have him take care of our dog ZEUS. The transition to get yearly shots and medication in our own home; a comfortable environment for our fur baby without causing him anxiety and stress was so much  more worth it then sedating him and muzzling him for routine checkups. And did I mention at a decent value. The gentleness knowledge and professional expertise demonstrated by our veterinarian Dr.Vaughan was so priceless to us. I had him on speed dial and he answered each time no matter how much I bugged him! Even at the end, transitioning  my fur babies end of life was turned into an incredible experience.  His  patience, sincere understanding, calmness and the ability to help us weeks before it actually took place in knowing what to expect was so comforting to us. The care and concern in making sure we were okay at one of the most devastating moments in our life was an unforgettable experience for us to reflect back on in a positive way. Our 80 lb Pitbull was the Joy of our life for over 12 and a half years.  Saying goodbye to him in the comfort of our own home and having Vaughan there turned this horrible experience into a fond memory of gracefully allowing our pet to leave us in comfort. We are extremely grateful for him and his care for ZEUS, as he demonstrated to us that this type of service matters in makes a difference in how we view pet care. We mattered to him and our concerns were always addressed. Clearly he makes the difference! He is in a people and pet business as it is not just a job for him!
